Ad-hoc Routing Protocols

Traditional adhoc routings can be divided into two categories as on-demand (or reactive) and table-driven (or proactive) protocols. Some of the best known on-demand protocols are Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Temporary Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA). Some popular proactive routings include Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR), Destination Sequence Distance Vector routing protocol (DSDV).
